Susana Noguero is a cultural practitioner, curator and software developer that combining her informatic-technical knowledge with her social interests has set up a number of community projects related to media. One of the leaders behind platoniq.net, the cultural cooperative system based in Barcelona.
Her main interests are communitary tools, social software and networked strategies for public spaces. Her work is related to the search of alternative platforms for cultural distribution. Mixing formats and media, sound practice has been her main approach.

Platoniq started in Berlin in the 90's, as a sound label not limited to music. It developed as a platform where sound is a central practice but according to the circumstances it would be developed as a club, a medialab, a label, an event, or as documentation or action.

In the case of Subkultourist, their touring media station, the idea has been to generate a mobile observatorium of cultural production to document and map subcultural initiatives in different geographical locations.The sort of mobile platforms that she is developing within platoniq, work as road movies about free-libre-open culture.

Susana is also teacher of Information architecture, streaming media and networked comunities at Escuela Superior de Diseño Elisava and at Instituto Audiovisual de la Universidad Pompeu Fabra of Barcelona.
Recently has launched different initiatives like the space for new technologies at Centro de mujeres Francesca Bonnemaison of Barcelona and the public streaming server Opserver.org.
