An evening of signal strength with Marko Peljhan, Eda Cufer, Brian Springer, Aljosa Abrahamsberg and Ewen Chardronnet leaning on the conceptually conspirative ensemble of Velimir Chlebnikov, Kazimir Malevich, Nikola Tesla, John Cage and Jack Northrop.

This transnational group of nomadic system operators will uplink in Rotterdam to create a multi-tiered environment comprising electromagnetic signal processing, transmission, tactical tool creation and political debate. Since the discovery of wireless transmission the global territories of telecommunications have become a fertile ground for artistic and cultural investigation. From the early radio and TV experiments of Robert Adrian X and the ultimate satellite signal jamming ventures of Captain Video to Brian Springer's documentary Spin, artists have sought to uncover the laws in which the immateriality of the signal spectrum becomes malleable structural element with long term real time/space impact and material consequences. A small signals receiving and interception suite will be constructed in situ and enabled to scour the multitude of transponders streaking over the Equator which delineate an infosphere increasingly being appropriated by contemporary governmental surveillance apparati. The received signals and tracings will be incorporated in near real time sonic and visual constructs to be  retransmitted, while their contents will be publicly shared, analysed  and debated. Antennae will be constructed - high powered microwave bursts will be created.
No admittance without proof of insurance.
