Eda Cufer (SI)


Eda Cufer studied dramaturgy at the Academy for Theater Radio Film and Television (AGRFT) in Ljubljana. Her writings on theater, dance, visual art, culture and politics have been published by MIT Press, the Museum of Modern Art (NYC) and DAP. She is the editor of several books, including NSK Embassy Moscow: How the East Sees the East, Transnacionala: Highway Collisions Between East and West at the Crossroads of Art, Interpol: The Art Exhibition Which Divided East and West and between 1983 to 1989 she was cofounder and dramaturg of the NSK theater groups. During the 1990s, she collaborated with the visual arts group IRWIN on projects such as KAPITAL, NSK EMBASSY MOSCOW and TRANSNACIONALA; the international dance group EN-KNAP, as well as with artist Marko Peljhan and Projekt Atol. In 2002 she co-curated the exhibition "In Search of Balkania" with Roger Conover and Peter Weibel at Neue Galerie in Graz, Austria. She is currently editing a book on Projekt Atol's work from 1989-2004.
